Whenever I'm back out to California, I always have breakfast at Four
n/Twenty... as well as at Millie's . . . where we would eat breakfast together... especially the times I flew out just to have breakfast with you ! Expensive but worth it !

When we'd talk on the phone, and it had been awhile since we'd had a meal together . . . you would encourage me by saying, "Hey, your breakfast is getting cold!"

My regret is letting you talk me out of my already scheduled flight to have breakfast . . . right before you made the transition to be with our Lord.

I said we'd have it in the hospital. You said, "NO, we won't have it here ! We'll wait until I get released !" I should have come out anyway... but I didn't want to argue or make you upset. I should have simply shown up at your hospital door... and somehow teased you back into a good mood . . .

That's my regret . . . that I missed our last opportunity . . .
As I used to say to my Dad before he made his transition to be with the Lord..."I'll see you later !"

I know where I'm going... I'm just not in any hurry to get there !
I'll see you later !

Has it been a year already ! ? ! ? . . . I think of you often and miss our time together - as you would say, "Our breakfast is getting cold ! - with love and respect ... and Peace - Jeff

Lou was my Dad's best friend. When my Dad died 23 years ago, Lou and I developed a similar relationship that eased the grief we each felt... and filled that loss we shared. Thanks Lou, for the many years of breakfasts, love, respect, and special friendship See you later !

My deepest condolences to the family. We sat in Masonic Lodge together, and he was so cherished by the entire membership.
