In memory of
Ron and Mary Rockwell
January 24, 2010
Peggy, We were shocked to read about Louis passing in the paper. We will always remember Louis' cheerful spirit and how perfectly you two fit together. May God give you his peace that passes all understanding. If there's anything we can do for you know that we are here for you. Your friends, Ron and Mary Rockwell

Dear Peggy, How thankful I am that I saw Lou and you that last day at the Post Office. He will forever be a friend in my heart and I will remember that warm engaging laugh and smile of his and the way he loved you. You will always be Louie"s girl. Thank you for coming to Troy and letting me get to know you two. Everyone that knew him will miss seeing the two of you together.
I am praying for you.

Lou will be greatly missed. I will always remember the times I would stop and visit and he always told me how much he loved the Angus and the farm. We are friends that will be there for you, please accept our sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Peggy,
The many days of driving by and seeing Louis sitting out in the yard, just relaxing and enjoying the country life of rural Canton. He was always enjoying the joys of God's creations, whether it was the weather, the beef cows, or the land. God has blessed all who had the opportunity to take the time to visit with Louis. Our prayers are with the you and the family.

Peggy and Family, Pat and I are shocked
and saddened. We were on our way to
visitation but hit some ice and returned home. Lou was my friend and
I was his. We were on the same page
politically. Your days will get better
and we are praying for you. Pat and

Dear Peggy,
I am so sorry that your's and Louis's fun retirement time was cut short. I know how much the two of you were enjoying all your hobbies that you have in commom. You were a match made in heaven for sure.
I am thankful that my brother was blessed with a wife that made him happy and was devoted to him.
The two of you can be so proud of all your accomplishments and the wonderful, wonderful family you have raised.
I know it will be diffiult for you for a long time as you were together for a lifetime, but you have a wonderful family that love and welcome you and everything will be okay.
God Bless You, Peg
I will see you this evening.
Love,
Joanie

How sad. Please accept our sympathies and express our concern to the family.
I often think of Chrissy and Beth and their Mom and Dad. A lot of years have passed since our Doug and George were friends with the girls and the family. I will always remember Lou and his tractors -- how he'd line them up outside - much like a youngster would with his toy tractors.
Ten grandchildren -- be strong for their sake. I'm sure they will miss their Grampa.
Take things a day at a time. Keep photos of him around and talk often about him. I know, it will be very hard but let friends and family be there for you.
Lou may be gone; but rest assured, he will never be forgotten.
