Sadly I came across an article in which I found out about Lou. Ruth in words it's difficult, though my empathy and love are with you. Lou and yourself always treated me as a family member. Giving me gifts of memories and moments I otherwise would not have experienced. My love for you both I have carried with me and always will.

We have many fond memories of Lou from our time at CCS. It seems camping weekends began with Lou setting up the pop-up tent/trailer after fixing Ruth a martini. He was such a unassuming quiet man who was an important part of our community. We would like to extend our sympathy to Ruth, Wayne, Scott and the rest of the family.

Louis and I were on the same team (Ravens) in the Neighborhood Boys Club in 1940 or so. I remember going to his apartment on Mozart Street to play chess. While neither he nor I were very good at sports, we liked to participate. He was one of my better friends on the team. Louis was a year older than me and while we attended the same Grammar and High Schools and even Illinois Tech, we never saw much of each other than our Ravens experiences.Sorry for your loss.
