Deborah Ann Wallace

Deborah "Debbie" Ann Kittles Wallace 54, of Leesburg, Florida, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunswick, Ga. with her family at her bedside after a five year battle with lung cancer.

Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of William "Bill" H. and Barbara S. Kittles of Valona, Ga. She was born in Chicopee, Ma. on August 23, 1956.

Mrs. Wallace was employed with Pro-Tech Water & Wastewater in Ocala, Florida, since 2005, as a dual-certified plant operator. Her peers knew her to be dedicated and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She was recognized for her many accomplishments as one of the few female operators in the industry. She was well-respected by her customers as well as her co-workers.

Debbie enjoyed reading, camping and riding motorcycles with her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, David A. Wallace of Leesburg; two sons, Shawn Z. Barber and Dylan A. Wallace; a brother Michael E. Kittles; and two sisters, Virginia "Ginny" M. Kittles and Sharon J. Kittles.

A graveside service will be held at a later time. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
