Paula, Dan, Gina, Calvin, Cary, Deb, Pete and Peter... Very sorry to hear about your loss. I'd only met Mr. C., a few times but remember the beautiful artwork (including the portrait of your Mom) and of course, seeing him both at a gathering your parents hosted and your sweet Mom's service. God bless him and you all at this tender time. He leaves a great legacy in all of you. XXX Toni Canell Voegtle

So sorry to hear of Lou's passing. He lived a very long life and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful volunteer at the Oak Park YMCA along with Elsie. We will miss these wonderful people and keep them and the whole family in our prayers.

What a great guy to have as a Father-in-law. Thanks for everything Lou. You & Elsie were generous, loving and great fun. What more could a person ask of his In-Laws. I miss you already - Now who's going to run around the block with me?

Lou was a joy to know and work with. Always pleasant and respectful. He was amazingly talented while, at the same time, humble. I enjoyed our visits with him during these recent years.
Our deepest condolences to his daughters, son, and the rest of his family.
