My deepest sympathies to Marie, Elizabeth, Joe, Jeffrey, Stephen, Eric and Mark on the loss of a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lou over the years and he was always upbeat and kind. Although Lou is no longer with us, he will remain forever in the minds and hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace Lou.

Marie, Elizabeth & family: Love and prayers for comfort to you all at this time. My heart hurts, along with your family. Lou was an amazing man, intelligent, kind, funny, his love of animals, and much, much more. I not only had the privilege of working for Lou, but our friendship lasted for 40 years. I will miss our long conversations, and lunch with you and Marie. You will always be in my heart, and I will never forget you my dear friend! Love, Anet

We share your sadness. Lou was a special person and a wonderful member of the family. We'll miss him and remember him for his kindness (to others as well as his beloved dogs)and his sparkling personality. He had a brilliant repartee, and an appreciation for the most outlandish song titles of yesteryear, which he played on his piano. There was always a lot of laughter around Lou.

Bill remembers a time when Lou visited the family and gave him his first guitar lesson. Lou, ten years Bill's senior, took the time to help this thirteen-year-old learn how to play "Back In The Saddle Again," which was a popular Gene Autry song at the time.

I will remember the rather unusual image of Lou in his Father-of-the-Bride tux and sneakers. He was one of a kind.
