My wife Susan Bates and I are both shocked and saddened to hear of Lou's death. He is gone too soon. Lou was such a nice guy. And as a college administrator, Lou was humane, honest, personable, and down-to-earth--qualities that are often hard-to-find in that sphere. We enjoyed chatting and visiting with Lou, at a few social events, at our house, and in the hallways of WWCC. He will be missed. Sue and I send our deepest condolences to Karen and hope that her loss can in some way be soothed by memories of their many good times and adventures together. --Sincerely, Chris Kennedy and Susan Bates

I lived next door to the Flaim family for many years. My parents received much help from the Flaim family during the years they were in ill health. I remember all the Flaim children from the time they were small until I had gone to college and eventually moved to Cheyenne. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Flaim family.
