Ten years without Lou and not a memory has faded. I remember Lou as a co-worker, a manager, and most of all a dear friend who loved his family! Lou the co-worker was always available to help resolve a difficult problem and even teach assembler! Lou the manager, most probably the best one I ever had, was so concerned for those of us reporting to him that when there was a raise freeze for everyone not in management, he volunteered forgoing his increase and spread it amongst those who reported to him, who does that! Lou, the friend, OMG! During union disputes, Lou would leave work and stand with the workers carrying a picket sign to support the workers, always supporting the underdog! Lou was so very proud of his family! I can still see the glint in his eyes when he spoke about Shiela, his children and his grandchildren! Lou will never be gone from my memory as he will always hold a special place in my heart, exemplifying the walk each of us should attempt to emulate here on this earth! He was a living example of 1Corinthians 13:13; And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Continue resting in God´s eternal peace Lou!

Dear Shiela,
I was so sorry to hear that Lou had passed. He was such a wonderful person and I have vivid memories of working with him and sharing thoughts on politics, labor issues and just everyday things. He loved his family and was so proud of each of you! As a friend, he was always so encouraging and only saw the best in everyone. He was very passionate about how people should be treated. I admired how he could even turn the worst situation into something positive.
I wish you much comfort, peace and many happy memories of him to get you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My condolences to the Incognito family. I worked with Lou many years ago but remember his quiet ways. He always spoke endearingly about Sheila and his children.

Hope that your memories can see you through this sad time.

I'm very sorry to see this. I enjoyed Lou's letters in the Germantown Chronicle and the defunct Germantown Courier and agreed with almost everything he wrote. His voice will be sorely missed in those papers. Rest in peace, Lou! They sure don't make them like you anymore!
