Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, June 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Ruth for sixty years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Beverly Posner and Tony Maric, Alison Posner and Armando Solares. Cherished Zaidie of Eric and Melissa-Anne, Scott and fiancée Karolina Apland, Jordan, and Evan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bella and the late Morrie Berkowitz, the late Sarah and the late Alfie Schwartz; and brother-in-law of Eddie and Shirley Fefergrad. Louis will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in his memory may be made to the "Ruth and Louis Posner Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation (514) 340-8251.

What a sad shock it was to learn of Lou's passing. A wonderful man whom I have had the pleasure of doing business with for over 25 years. I have always enjoyed dealing and speaking with the family. He will be so dearly missed by everyone.
