Louis (Lou) A. Puls, age 71, of Shertz passed away April 19, 2011. He was the rock of his family. He is survived by his children; Sherry Palmer and her partner, Susan Mangum of San Antonio, Cheryl Ernst and husband, Steve of Campbell, CA, Shelly Crews and husband, Adam of San Mateo, CA, Steve Puls and wife, Beverly of Portland OR and Wayne Schmidt and wife, Debbie of Sacramento, CA. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Cory Palmer of San Antonio, Danielle Palmer of Austin, TX, Justin Palmer and wife, Diana, Rachel Buckley-Sims and husband, Chris Sims of San Antonio, Mark Buckley of Las Vegas, NV, Jennifer Swank and husband, Shane, Megan Schmidt, Brandon Schmidt of Sacramento, CA, Carson and Camdyn Ernst, Kyle and Chad Crews, Brittany, Arianna, McKenna and Asa Puls and his great-grandchildren, Blaine Robert Buckley-Sims, Wrenner Liev Palmer, Michael Swank and Zachariah Schmidt. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
