Every year I put up this Christmas tree card that Luisa made for me and every year from here on I´ll always miss that. I won´t be able to talk to her around this time of year. This card is from 1993.forever in our hearts

I went to CSW with Louisa and have a great memories of hanging out with her in Boston after graduation. We had a dumpy apartment in Allston and had no money, but Louisa brought us packs hot dogs from her folks' house that we sauteed up for many meals. She also had this huge Plymouth Fury that was a beast to drive - we had lots of laughs with that. I just heard about her passing today. We lost touch after that summer, but I was always grateful that she helped feed me during my "like a rolling stone" stint in Boston. My condolences to her family
Peace 'n Funk,

I´ve just found out today about Louisa´s passing. I was reaching out to see if she was available to illustrate another one of my children's books.Louisa illustrated my very first book in Cabo San Lucas over 30 years ago. Indeed I hear her infectious laugh. I´m sorry for her family but happy that I had a friend like Louisa so full of life and wonder on this journey through life. My deepest sympathies to her kids and husband how wonderful you had some much time together. Leonique

Cabo 1994 I loved her but she always borrowed cigarettes but she was a character a lot like I am and I really loved her

Rest easy Louisa where the flowers bloom, near the babbling brooks and lush green pastures.
