LOUISE BEATON Obituary
July 24, 1927 – December 27, 2015
Louise Eleanor Beaton, formerly of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Cypress House in Swift Current, SK at the age of 88. Louise is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Jean Beaton of Wiseton, SK; three nephews, David Beaton, John Beaton, Donald Beaton and their families; four nieces, Carol Simon, Marilyn Friesen, Mona Martens, Mary Cowan and their families. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Murdo and Mary Beaton; siblings, Margaret, Norman, John, and Flora Beaton; sister- in-law Virginia Beaton, and infant niece Norma Jean Beaton. Louise was born on July 24, 1927 in the Wiseton District. She took nurse's training at St. Paul's hospital in Saskatoon and later received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan. She worked in Nova Scotia, Toronto, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and the Gambia. She was a faithful caregiver and companion for her sister-in-law Virginia for many years. She spent her life joyfully serving others and will be fondly remembered by the many lives she touched. She will be dearly missed, but we celebrate that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family expresses their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Cypress House for their kind and gracious care. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Louise to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Ave, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1 or the charity of your choice. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, 5303 Sherwood Dr., Regina, SK with Pastor Ronda Bosch officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, SK.

Dear Louise, Sandi told me today that you had passed away. I cried, I don't think I've cried in months. You meant so much to our family. You breathed life and mission into Sandi and I as a young couple. We had depth of conversation with you that we have with few others. You cared deeply for us. When our family last saw you, our kids left saying, "Louise is awesome." We agree. We miss you terribly. I know you are gone and this is a guest book for the living but I needed to share that with you anyways.

I am so sad to read that I have missed Louise by 6 months. I wanted to wish her a happy birthday tomorrow. I am forever grateful for her taking me underwing 25 years ago and helping me know Jesus better. She always was giving, never was it about her. She always was faithful, trusting her Father for all things. She was a sweet place for me to be as young adult and she marked who I have become. I so wanted her to know that I and my family are finally on the mission field. I look forward to seeing her in glory.
