Louise Tosi Greco LUBBOCK- Louise Tosi Greco of Lubbock passed away Saturday, April 18, just seven months and one day after her husband of 57 years. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 12, 1940 to the late Joseph and Helen Tosi. She married Anthony Tony Greco in 1957. They moved to Lubbock in 1972 where she owned several dog grooming businesses including the first mobile grooming. Lou was a tremendous athlete especially in women's slow and fast pitch softball and always won her division in the Lubbock Superstars competitions. She survived a devastating motorcycle accident and even went on to race cars at Idalou Dragway with her husband. She cared deeply for animals, never forgetting to feed the birds, walk her dog or take very special care of her many grand-dogs. She loved to read, to be thrifty, to be organized and on schedule, and most of all she loved her family who was by her side throughout the very difficult past year. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and twin brother, Louis Gigi Tosi. Those left to cherish many wonderful memories are her children Marc Greco and wife Rhonda, Chris Greco, Lisa Gilliland and husband Larry, all of Lubbock; and her beloved yellow Labrador, Honey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lubbock Meals on Wheels 2304-34th Lubbock, TX 79411. Please celebrate the life of Louise by visiting www.combestfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
