Each and every time being in her company was a positive experience. You can´t say that about too many folks you get to know. As a light-hearted note, I liked the way she would refer to Ross´s friends by their last name; "How´s things Bowe?" or "What´s up with Kush?" Growing up, I was never close with my biological grandmother. It meant a lot to me to be able to call her "Gram".

To All of her children and their extended families: Having borne witness to the wit and wisdom and humor and affable way shared at your family gatherings over the years, I appreciate your loss and commune in your sadness. And yet, an appropriate measure of joy need be acknowledged when recollecting "Gram" surrounded by her children; great and grand. In looking over her family tree; from Guhl to Bauer to Spitola...one gets a sense of her import and grandeur. She started up something fine, and left a piece of likability in each and everyone with the fortune of calling her "Gram".

Louise's picture (she was always Mrs Guhl to me) can be found in any Webster-Daniels dictionary right next to the word matriarch. On the day of Karen and John's wedding our families became one as well. She and my Mom were almost sisters. Her love for and care of her children was so obvious. Truly one of a kind. She will enjoy the next life even more

Last I saw your Mom about 2 years ago - I believe after what may have been a birthday celebration in Yardley, at Cramer's Bakery with Gay, Marty, and Richard. She and I had a short joking conversation before I recognized Gay. An amazing woman and an amazing life.
Sorry for your loss.
