Louise Marie Iverson

IVERSON Louise Marie February 12, 1941 - October 8, 2008 "Goo - Goo, Queen, Duke, Gram" It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving mother, Louise. She is predeceased by her dad, John Wilfred (Sport) in 2000. Louise is survived by her loving and devoted family: partner Dean Dunn and his children Lana and Rick; mom Sig Iverson; children Kim (Kyle Williamson), Kelly, Carmen (Owen Dolan); her four precious grandsons Keely, Kyler, Tanner and Kelly and her two granddogs Rosie and Baxter. She is also survived by her brother Clifford (Linda) Iverson, sister Leona (Garry) Bereska, nieces and nephews and her former husband Don Labinsky, his mom Jean Labinsky and family. Louise was a truly devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother and best friend to so many. She found great pleasure in helping her family and friends. She loved to plan outings for luncheons, casino trips and "Monday Night Football". Louise lived most of her life in Delta and remained there until her untimely death. She worked for many years at Summit Logistics (Safeway) where she made many good and lasting friends. It was there that she was fondly known as "Duke". The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the firemen and paramedics who first assisted Louise at her home. A Memorial Celebration of Louise's life will be held on Fri., Oct. 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 11040 River Road, North Delta with refreshments to follow.
