Louise Montgomery Klopfenstein, 89, of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 2:23 A.M. at Wyngate Senior Living Center in Lima, Ohio. Born April 7, 1923 in Allen County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Henry Miller and the late Mary (Hess) Miller. Louise married Clyde F. Montgomery, who preceded her in death. Louise married Harold E. Klopfenstein on August 6, 1974. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1991. She was a homemaker but previously had worked at the Lima News and then for Jack Sommerville Insurance. She loved gardening, feeding and watching the birds. She enjoyed her time while at Wyngate making new friends and participating in their activities. Surviving are: two sons, Steve C. (Marilyn) Montgomery of Elida, OH and Craig L. (Carol) Montgomery of Lima, OH; a daughter, Marcia Kay Tilford of Murfreesboro, TN; two step sons, Harold S. Klopfenstein, and Charles Klopfenstein, both of Florida; two step daughters, Mary Lou Dillard of Indiana, and Lois Ann Falk of Florida; seven grandchildren, Crystal (Jeremy) Montgomery-Boring, John (Tiffany) Montgomery, Bryan Montgomery, Jennifer (Greg) Parker, Derek Tilford, Courtney (Michael) Wanat, and Shelley (Mike) Buch; six step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, Moran, Gavin, Keaton, Benjamin, Ryan, Heather, Ella, and Kailey; two step great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Martha) Miller of Elida, OH and Marion (Betty) Miller of Lima, OH; and one sister, Hazel Dunn of Lima, OH. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Guy Tilford; a brother Virgil Miller; and a sister, Catherine Koenig. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the Ash Grove Brethren Church, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. with Robert Eugene Miller officiating.
