Louise W. Tabor, 83, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of the late Clifford Adam Tabor Jr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 21, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy. at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, January 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. 

Louise was born April 13, 1940 in Greenwood, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Sydney Whatley and Thelma Reames Whatley. She was an active member of St. Andrews High School, class of '58. She retired from Roper St. Frances Hospital after working for 41 years. Louise was also a lifetime member of Ashley River Baptist Church. She will be remembered as mother, nanny, and a friend to many.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia T. (Michael) Parker of Summerville, SC, Susan Irene (Scott) Ilderton of James Island, SC; three grandchildren, Master Sgt. W. Travis (Ceci) Ilderton, Brittany Louise Ilderton, Kaitlin P. (Strom Jr.) Altman; great-grandchild, Olivia Grace Ilderton; sister-in-law, Jane T. (Bob) Startz of Groton, CT.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Adam Tabor Jr.; brother, John R. Whatley.

Memorials may be made to Dorchester County  Paws, 136 Four Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483, or to Ashley River Baptist Church c/o Faith FWD / Building Fund.
