Lowell and his lovely wife Jane have been online friends for many years. My husband and I have been concerned that his Facebook Profile has been closed. In our search we came across this obituary. We are so sad and sorry to read he has passed. But happy he will join his beloved Jane. If a family member reads this please know he is missed by his online friends. We did meet in Dunedin, New Zealand a few years back when he and Jane were on a visit to New Zealand. That was very special to us.
I have enjoyed many conversations over the years.
Regards
Vivienne & Michael Spriggs

Please accept my condolences. I met Lowell through my employment at the Midland Daily News and enjoyed lunches with him during my retirement.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.l heard from Lowell a number of times during my 43 years anchoring radio news. He often called to comment on stories which I always appreciated.

My sympathy to Lowell's family and friends during this time of loss. Our paths crossed many times over the years as I covered the new Ford WSGW.

My thoughts are with all of you. Wonderful memories of family time at the lake with the kids all playing in the water. Love always, Deb (Carr) Halfmann

Uncle Lowell was quite a jokester...he tried to help my mother, his sister, with her spelling deficiency by giving her a book of common words and how to spell them. Mom didn't find this book very useful at all.
