Lua Huynh Obituary
Lua Van Huynh, 88, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Telford, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Grand View Hospital.
He was the loving husband of No Thi Nguyen for 62 years. Lua was born in Binh Duong, Vietnam to the late Can Van Huynh and the late Dat Thi Huynh.
He owned and operated a tea kettle welding business in Vietnam. Lua then worked as a driver delivering furniture in Vietnam.
He was a member of Chua Linh Quang Temple in Telford.
Lua loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out at the coffee shop. He never said no to help someone in need.
Lua was a gentle, caring, selfless man who was always smiling and always willing to help out.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his ten children, Tam Van Huynh & wife, Hoa of Souderton, PA, Hoa Thi Huynh & husband, Luong of Telford, PA, Tuoi Van Huynh & wife, Linh of Souderton, PA, Tham Van Huynh & wife, Giao of Souderton, PA, Chi Thi Huynh & husband, Tung of Souderton, PA, Thanh Van Huynh & former wife, Dung of Souderton, PA, Hong Thi Huynh & husband, Nghiem of Telford, PA, Tan Van Huynh & wife, Thuy of Telford, PA, Huong Thi Huynh & husband, Tuan of Telford, PA, Dung Thi Nguyen & former husband, Tho of Philadelphia, PA; his 27 grandchildren – Mai Anh, Duc, Thang, Dao, Michael, Anna, Toan, Tiffany, Anthony, Linda, Lena, Lipton, Andy, Christina, Alina, Jennifer, Soni, Dan, Joe, Vivian, Alan, Vina, Nathan, Ethan, Tracy, Jessica, & Richard; and his 4 great-grandchildren – Johnny, Jacob, Nghi, & Nhan.
In addition to his parents, Lua was preceded in death by his son, Minh Van Huynh
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 from 10:30 am - 9:00 pm.
Another viewing will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.
A Buddhist prayer service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 8:00 am – 10:30 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964.
