Luana June Warden

WARDEN Luana June Warden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, died at home in Castroville, TX on July 13th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 61 years. Luana was born on June 14th, 1950 in Stockton, CA to the late Maude Bailey. She received her MasterÂ's degree in Counseling and Guidance from UTSA in 1980. She served the State of Texas for 31 years, most recently as Area Manager for the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services DARS. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Michael Warden. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Chris Warden; two proud sons, Matthew Warden of Austin, TX and Craig Warden of Castroville, TX; two wonderful grandchildren, four dear sisters, her good friend Ruby Gates, and many other family and friends too numerous to name. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 15th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring on 1101 McCullough, San Antonio, TX. FUNERAL SERVICE SATURDAY JULY 16, 2011 2:00 P.M.
