Lucas Craig Obituary
Lucas graduated from Bucksport, class of 1998. He served in the U.S. Army, 84th Engineers from 1999-2003. He honorably discharged from the Army to take care of his beautiful newborn daughter, Autumn Jade Craig, in 2004 while her mother was deployed to Iraq. Autumn was the Love of his Life and the Center of his Universe from the moment she was born. They enjoyed swimming, nature walks, swinging, reading and being silly together; Lucas loved to hear Autumn sing. He was such a Proud Daddy.
Lucas genuinely touched the lives of more people than his family will ever know. He always had a kind heart and gentle spirit, which he offered up at the most opportune times. His shining eyes and quick wit will leave so many people with great memories of him.
Lucas is survived and deeply missed by his mother and father, Rae-Jean and Timothy; brother, David all of Bucksport; sister, Jennifer and her fiancé, Sean McAuley, of Alton; stepgrandmother, Priscilla Gray of Minnesota; several aunts, uncles, cousins, many close friends; and his Radiant Daughter, Autumn. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Warren "Hi" and Eureta Gray; paternal grandparents, Ben and Carolyn Craig; and very special aunt, Marianne (Craig) Mylen.
Per Lucas' request, there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. A notification will be posted.

To the Craig Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Lucas. Words cannot describe what you all must be going through. I remember playing with Luke when we were kids and have fond memories with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this extremely difficult time. My heart also breaks for his precious daughter. It sounds like they were really close and he was a wonderful father.
