Mama, I am sorry I couldn't be there for your service. My daughter Connie had an operation & I promised her I woulb be there for her. I have a feeling you would understand. You instilled the methods of cleanliness all my life. Whenever we came back your house was always spotless! You will be missed mama, but glad you are out of pain now & with daddy. I love you, Love, Rita

Aunt Kathy, Uncle Jimmy & Aunt Rita: I just wanted to send you all my deepest sympathies, I know how close you all were to Grandma Martin. I am saddened by her loss as well. I am so grateful I was able to spend time with her during Thanksgiving, she always filled me in on all that was happening with everyone! Grandma was an intelligent, honorable, dignified and strong women and I will miss her. Unfortunately I can not make it to the services as I just got back into the country, was on a cruise when I got the news from Aunt Kathy and I cannot not make all the needed arrangements in time. I will miss you Grandma but you live on in our hearts and memories. Love you all. Bill Rogers -- Billy Gene to grandma :-)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. We loved Grandma so much and she will be missed. We remember when a neighbor told her she couldn't paint her house. She said, "Nobody is going to tell me I can't do something. I'll show her." And she did it. She was undaunted by any task. She was always hospitable when we came to visit and just rolled up her sleeves and went to work preparing food and giving us all a hearty welcome.
