SIMARD, Lucille Annette (nee Walker)
Born on May 6, 1921 and passed away peacefully on December 6, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Edgar (1993) and her daughter Mary Lou (1996). Loving mother of Richard Simard of Essex, ON, Rose Anne Fuerth (Dan) of Woodslee, ON, Judy Peltier (Paul) of Woodslee, ON, Paul Simard (Janice) of Coldlake, AB, and Edward Simard of Wyoming, ON. Dear grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Lucille lived on a dairy farm near Woodslee for 68 years. She enjoyed farming along side her husband and raising their six children. She loved gardening, sewing and needlework. Lucille obtained her drivers licence at 73 years old and she was all about family and doted over grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Jeanne, Beatrice, Rachel, Dorothy, Albert and Leo Paul. Dear sister-in-law of Madeline and Oscar. She was the last survivor of the Golden Girls.
