Lucius McCutchen Butts

Lucius was born on November 13, 1926 and passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019. Lucius was a resident of Mississippi at the time of passing. He was educated in Natchez schools until he was sent to Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, Georgia halfway through his junior year graduating May 1944. He attended Tulane University where he was initiated into Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, leaving Tulane in the Fall of 1944 to enlist in the US Navy immediately upon his 18 th birthday. Funeral Service will be at Trinity Episcopal Church, 305 South Commerce St, Natchez, Mississippi at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 15, 2019 with Father Kenneth Ritter presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service at the church.
