I last visited Lucy in December when I was home visiting my family for Christmas. I live out of state. Lucy was one of my mother’s best friends and was in my life from the day I was born. She drove my mother and I home after my birth in 1965. Lucy always had a lot of young kids in her Sunday School class because it was fun. She taught us that God was in everything, especially nature, and we would all marvel at whatever animal, reptile, fish etc. she had in the Sunday School room. My mother was always there for Lucy; but Lucy was also there for my mother in many different ways. It was always delightful to see her over the years and her mind stayed well the whole time.

Huffman family:
If you look up the definition of a Christian woman in the dictionary,I know there would be a picture of Lucy by it. She was a precious woman and a dear friend. Not to mention a great cook (banana nut cake, sweet potato casserole, etc.) She was an inspiration to me and my children and we will all miss her dearly.
No doubt about it, she is with the Lord right now and we are forever blessed from knowing her.
