I worked with LuDean at LDS Family Services in many different capacities. She brought energy to each office and clinical skills as mentioned by Dr. Moench in an earlier comment. She was particularly good with youth as mentioned in her obituary. I haven't seen her in many years and am sad to hear that her health had been a challenge recently. She will be missed.

Dear Robson Family:
Your dear mother, Lu Jean, tended me as a very young boy. Your father, Thayne, was my bishop while I was in law school. Lu Dean was a friend and fellow Democrat with whom I was privileged to talk and commiserate during much of my adult life. What a special creation and gift she was. I’m certain she had all the preliminaries waived and was sent directly to heaven. I’m also certain all her pains are now stilled and her unmet expectations are fulfilled. May you all be blessed and comforted at this tender time.
With love and sincere condolences,
Marlin Jensen

LuDean, we wish your body had lasted longer to protect your precious mind. Memories of LuDean are all positive though sometimes problematic because of dwindling health. She was bright and cheerful when running out of reasons to be so. In her healthy days she was always engaging, usually smiling, and a breath of fresh air. A really good clinician if counseling was needed, creative and well-versed in services available if social work was required, fascinating if teaching was the agenda, she brought expertise, enthusiasm, and a caring heart to whatever professional situation she faced. On a personal level, she seemed to know everything good about everyone, and readily shared a her opinions on a wide array of topics with a hearty laugh. Love of home and family were what kept her on the bus of life past her stop. We're fortunate to have ridden with her. Condolences to the Robson Family she helped to make wonderful.

I enjoyed living with Lu Dean in Austin Hall during her freshman year at the University of Utah. We became good friends and Judy Ann Marriott and I loved spending time with her. I loved Lu Dean's happy personality, strong testimony of the gospel, love for her family, and zest for life. She will be greatly missed by me and my husband, Forrest.
