Lue Barr

Lue Sina Dolinger Barr CHILHOWIE, Va. Lue Sina Dolinger Barr, age 79, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Va. She was born in Grayson County, Va., on Feb. 8, 1930, to the late Charles Franklin and Emma Dolinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Barr; and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Marion Seventh-day Adventist Church and loved her two grandchildren dearly. Survivors Include: one son, Charles G. Barr, Marion; two daughters, Mary Sue Barr, Chilhowie Debbie Wilson, Chilhowie; one brother, David Dolinger, North Wilkesboro, N.C.; two sisters, Agnes Greer and husband Russ, Lenoir, N.C., Gladys Stephens, Aberdeen, Md.; two grandsons, Robert Stephen Vanhoozer and Charles Adam Vanhoozer; a special friend and neighbor, Butch Hatfield.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Pastor Mark Totten officiating. Interment will follow in the Southfork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
