Both Myron and their son, Gerald, died accidental deaths. After twelve years as a widow, Luella married widower George Burros in 1958. They had two daughters, Rachel and Heidi. George passed away in 1970. Luella took over George's Red Carpet Market and operated it for 20 years. Luella was very active in the Sundahl Lutheran Church and many community organizations. She was honored as a 50 year member of Aneta Homemakers Club. She initiated the start of the Aneta Community Band and was an EMT on the Aneta Ambulance Squad. She may be most known for having "The Popcorn Stand". A prayer service will be held Friday, April 30, 2004 at 7:30 PM in the Sundahl Lutheran Church. Interment will be held at Silent Hill Cemetery of rural Aneta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Aneta Ambulance and the Aneta Community Band. Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
