Way back in the 70's, I was the Fuller brush lady in Mrs. Roundy's neighborhood. She would invite me in every time I appeared at her door, she would feed me cookies and ALWAYS put in an order with me and invited me to bring my 2 daughters when I dropped off her clleaning supplies.
I had old clunkers as the girls turned into teens and I cannot even begin to count the times Mr. Roundy towed our cars and gave us a ride home. I cannot count the times that Mr. Roundy or "young" Bernal did minor repairs at no cost.
Such great memories of all of you growing up.
My heart goes out to all the family. Sincererly, Marilyn

Although I havent seen Grandma Roundy in years, I still have fond memories of our Laughlin trip with Brenda and I. It was a hoot!

To my Grandma Roundy...We spent many years traveling to such wonderful places as Catalina Island, Disneyland, New Zealand, Hawaii, Jamaica, Bahamas, Utah, Mexico, going on Cruises & family Reunions, Etc. I have many many fun memories with my Grandma (& Grandpa) & she always made feel special. We used to make divinity candy(from scratch) & when I was sick from school...I would stay with Grandma & she would spoil me as Grandma's do. We would watch Soap Opera's & Iron clothes (I don't do that anymore) and bake. She would rock me to sleep in that big wooden rocker ( I think she stopped when I became a teenager). Grandma loved to shop & I had no problem tagging along or making sure she made it to the Mall Ok. Going to get our nails done and telling Grandpa we were grocery shopping. I remember the Big Candy drawer under the microwave. All the blankets that Grandma had (Mark & I would make Forts with). I will miss her dearly, she will always have a special place in my heart.
