LUIS ALBERTO CASTILLO

PANAMA - Luis was born on Nov 23, 1951, and fell asleep in death on Nov 24, 2007 in Panama.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son and daughter, Luis Alberto and Clarissa of Victoria; his mother, Esther De Castillo; father, Luis Alberto Castillo; brothers, Jesus Castillo and Victor Castillo and sister, Minerva Castillo, all of Panama; and sister, Mariela De Gutierrez of Spain.
Luis became a true disciple of Christ and dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1975. He served four years as a volunteer worker at the Brooklyn, N.Y. headquarters of Jehovah's Witness, where he met his wife Elizabeth. They were married on Feb. 27, 1982. He served as a full-time evangelizer for four years, and the ministry of teaching about his God Jehovah was the main focus of the rest of his life.
Luis had a great affection for young people and devoted much time to help them develop a relationship with Jehovah God. Many young ones looked at him as a spiritual father. Luis was beloved by those who knew him and many considered him a spiritual brother. We look forward to seeing him in the near future, here on earth, in the resurrection Jesus promised.
A memorial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday Dec 1, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall, 1509 E. Red River, in Victoria, Rolando Padron, minister of Jehovah's Witnesses, presiding.

Luis was one of my best friends. He loved people and was always looking to help others. I grieve for his passing, but many others do also. He will be missed.
