A Reminiscence

YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.

May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.

Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,

Mes sincères sympathies à Randy ainsi qu'à tous les ami-es de Luis qui va me manquer.

My Dear Luis ... I will always cherish the wonderful times we had together, whether they were on the beaches of the Caribbean, your home in Montreal and our homes in Toronto & Barbados. Your generosity & kindness, your laugh and love of life will remain forever. I know that you are still amongst us in spirit. Randy .. treasure all of these times and memories and may they give you strength & courage through these difficult times.

I know luis since 1973, he was my French teacher at C.O.F.I.he was very friendly and we called each other at least once a month,RIP old friend.

Luis was a brilliant gracious generous cultured person and performer in 3 languages. And a singer too. Always a treat to be in studio with him. Hundreds of hours on scores of projects over the past 30 years.
I've missed him so much since his illness made it impossible for him to work.
It was a privilege to know him and call him a friend.
