Luis PALACIOS Obituary
1937 - 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Omar Palacios in Montreal on April 7th, 2012 at the age of seventy-four following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years Eremita Ferreyra, his sons Danny and Mich, his daughter-in-law Mariella, his grandson Marc-Anthony, his sister Elena (Jose), brothers Zenon, Martiriano (Marta) and late brother Pedro Roberto and many relatives and dear friends. You were a loving husband, a wonderful dad and abuelo (grandpa), as well as a kind and giving person to all. You were always a fighter and you fought to the end. We will carry on your fighting spirit and the love you shared with us forever. The family will receive condolences from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO on Friday, April 13th, 2012. A service will be held at Mary-Queen-of-Peace Church, 11075 Gouin Blvd W., Pierrefonds at 1 pm on Saturday, April 14th, 2012. Thanks to the staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their compassion and continuous care. A special thank you to Dr. Vanounou and Dr. Melnychuk who provided their expertise and support to our family over the past two years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Pancreatic Association would be greatly appreciated.
