to our precious family in Florence and Charleston, We continue to grieve Luke's untimely death. We trust a loving God even though we may not understand the circumstances that took Luke from us. I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear about Luke (last night). I cannot imagine what you are going through. And you are in my thoughts and prayers.

So many times I have thought of you and missed the friendship we once had. I have even been by the duplexes trying to see if you still lived there.

If there is anything at all that I can do, or if you need a friend or someone to talk to (we used to do that quite easily), please know that I still think a lot of you and am here if you need me. 679-3922 or 229-3878.

Our son, Cameron Allen, was one of Luke's friends since childhood. We were so saddened to hear of your devastating loss. Though Cameron and Luke had not spent alot of time together recently, Cameron loved Luke very much- his heart is so heavy with the reality of this.He grieves along with the many other friends Luke had.Our children should not have to leave us.....I can only imagine your pain. Ali, My mom told me about Luke and it was like someone knocked the breath out of me. He was such a great kid and always made me laugh when I was over at your house. Sorry to hear about Luke, he was a great kid and I know he will be sadly missed.I coached him in soccer several years ago,and although I had not seen him in years, I understand he grew into a fine young man. Again, sorry for your loss.

Bob, Matt and family. I lost my father Christmas Eve, who like Luke, was very close to the heart. Chris and Everett were very sad to hear the news. Many tears were shed for Luke, and it is okay for a man to cry. If you ever need to talk, a shoulder will always be there your family.

I wish you could feel the joy I have for you,

Follow the Bible’s teachings, listen with your heart,

Do your very best son, that’s the best start!

Lead by example, and do your very best,

Say your prayers son, as you lay your head to rest.



I’m sorry for the times, you were mad at me,

I hope as you grow son, the love you will see.

I wanted to tell yall that i am truley sorry about your lost!! I went and graduated from South Florence with Luke. I know this is a hard time for all of yall but remeber God will not put us through anything we can not handle. I know that is hard to face but he makes that promis in his word. I played dixie youth baseball with Luke for years. He was a terrific guy, and he will greatly be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your son, Luke. We know how heartbroken you are. There is a pain in your chest that goes all the way through your body. We lost a son less than two years ago, and our other son, Robbie, who played sports with and graduated with your son, Luke, is quadriplegic, as you know. When these unfortuante life events happen to our children, it is almost too much to bear. I can tell you, though, that the Lord is faithful and will walk with you each step of the way. He will bear your burden with you, as He has with us. You are daily in our thoughts and prayers.

I watched Luke grow up. For years he and my son were inseperable. I had the opportunity to coach Luke and watch him grow. He will be greatly missed. He will not be forgotten.

Luke and Jason were like brothers and I know it's been hard for him as it has for all of Lukes friends. When Luke stayed at our home in Florence, he and Jason had some great times together and we will always have those memories to treasure.
