George Torbich Obituary
90, on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, of Old Bridge, NJ. He was formerly of North Braddock. Beloved husband of the late Jean Irene Sadvary Torbich. Father of Georganne (Mrs. Joseph) Slay of Old Bridge and grandchildren, Brenda, Kimberly and Gregory. Loving brother of Marian and Margaret Torbich and the late Theodore A. and Thomas B. Torbich. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a WWII Veteran, member of National Association of Letter Carriers, Braddock Elks, Greek Catholic Society and the Slovak Society. Calling hours are Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the RONALD V. LUCAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., (412-271-1361), 534 Jones at Bell Avenues, North Braddock. A Parastas Service will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.. Divine Lituragy will be concelebrated in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, East Pittsburgh, Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. by the Reverend Joseph Raptosh and Abbott Leo R. Schlosser. Entombment will follow at Mount St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA with Military Honors.
