Luke Merry Obituary
Luke T. Merry, age 14 months, of Canton passed away Monday, August 20, 2007, at Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital in Cleveland. A life time resident of Canton. Survived by his parents, Tom and Lisa Merry; three sisters, Hannah, Meghan, and Lydia Merry; paternal grandparents, Dale and Mary Merry; aunts, Lana Woodworth, Gail Merry and John Glenn, Kristine Coyne; two uncles, Kevin Coyne, Steve and Vicki Merry; nine cousins Tricia, Stephen, Mike, Denise, Cassie, Chelsea, Callie, Andy, and Aimee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Luke on Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church in Navarre. Celebrant will be Fr. Edward Beneleit. Burial at St. Clement's Cemetery in Navarre. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, (tonight) 6-8 p.m. at the Welch- Sekeres Lewis Funeral Home. We will always celebrate our little "Lukey Man's" life. His sweet smile and gentle spirit, inspired everyone. He will live in our hearts forever. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association or to St. Clement's School.

Lisa, Tom and my Dearest Friend Lana,
I can not find words to express the sadness I feel for your family. I know how much you loved and cherished this sweet angel. I loved hearing from Lana with all the ongoing updates and reports of the progress and the happiness that surrounded Luke.

I will never forget his little smile. It lit up the room. I know he and Dane would have been best buds, but now Dane has his own little angel watching out for him. What a lucky kid he will be. I feel blessed that Luke was a part of our lives.
