Luther Miller Obituary
Luther Miller, 80, of Bethlehem passed away early Thursday morning, August 29, 2013 in the VNA Hospice House of St Lukes. Born July 3, 1933 in Coopersburg, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Shunk.Luther was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring he was employed by Dent Manufacturing in Northampton and later worked for Securitas Security Company. In his spare time, Luther loved to fish and enjoyed tending to his flower garden. Survivors: Luther is survived by two daughters; Donna Fritchman and her husband James of Northampton and Deborah Miller of Bath; one granddaughter Briana Fritchman and one sister Ella Yost of Bath. Services: Funeral services and burial will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home 407 Belvidere St. Nazareth. Debbie and Donna.. my sincerest and deepest sympathy go out to you both. Whenever I saw your Dad, he had a smile on his face and was personable and his company was enjoyable. He entertained my Father when they were roommates. He was a good guy.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your father, my neighbor. He was proud of his little garden and would always show me as I was passing by it; and sometimes would park my car in the handicapped spot if it was taken when I came home. I shall always remember his kindness.

I will miss how he always said to me"Are you over here again" as I get off the elevator to go to see my mom. Luther was always a delight to talk too and I will miss him so much. Good bye Luther and hope you are not in any discomfort anymore. The ladies at the building are going to be taking care of your flowers that you so lovingly planted.
