Luther Williams

March 21, 1941 - March 18, 2023 Luther Leon Williams, Sr., affectionately known as "Willie", age 81, surrounded by family, passed away from complications of Parkinson's Disease on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in his home, located in the City of La Habra, CA. Luther is survived by long-time partner Norma Roberts, two sons Luther Jr. married to Dhasti and Gregory married to Lydia, daughter Barbara, step-daughters Cyndi and Pam, his 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Luther was predeceased by his daughter Terri and his former wife, Patricia, who was the mother of Luther's four children. Luther, born March 21, 1941, moved to Whittier, California from Oklahoma in 1960. A long-time truck owner/driver who retired from Bekin's Van Lines & G.I. Trucking. Luther was loved by those who knew him and could be found relaxing and enjoying a cold beer with friends and listening to traditional country music. He was a member of the La Habra Moose Lodge and the Whittier Lions Club. A respectable family man who chose to live close to his children and enjoyed doing life together with them. He will be missed by his loved ones and those who called him a friend. Memorial Service will be held on April 14th at 11:00 am, Whittier First Friends Church, 13205 Philadelphia St., Whittier, 90601. Luther will be laid to rest at 12:30 pm, Rose Hills, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, 90601.
