Luz Munoz Obituary
She left 5th grade to help her mom take care of her younger twin sister. She was very giving of herself helping out with family. She loved family gatherings. Her occupation was home health/ home provider until she got sick.
She was born in Premont to a mid wife She was born on November 15, 1948, to Benancio Gonzalez and Elida Lilly Davila.
She is survived by one son, Ricardo "Rick" Munoz Jr.(Jusella Estrada) of Premont, TX, two daughters, Maricelda Garza (Martin) of Orange Grove, TX and Carmen Gonzalez Pena (Audon "Fritz" Pena Jr.) of Premont, TX, one brother Elidoro "Lolo" Gonzalez (Aurora) of Kingsville, TX, two sisters, Gracia Gonzalez Ramos (Mario) of Donna, TX and Graciela Munoz of Kingsville, TX, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ricardo "Rick" Munoz, two brothers, Benito Gonzalez Sr. and Regino Kino Gonzalez, one sister, Irene "Nena" Jimenez.
A Holy Rosary will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday May 15, 2025 at The Alaniz Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Premont, TX. Burial will be at The Premont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mateo Munoz, Rigo Munoz, Rudy Ramos, Alfredo Villanueva, JR Zuniga and Enrique Rubio.

I do remember her in the lower grades as she was my age. How loving she was to leave school to take care of family! May the Lord give you all peace during this time!
