Some of you may know - Lydia May Marshall - among her many talents - was a business owner.
After moving to Los Angeles in the late sixties, she opened a beauty salon (totally aligning with her flair for fashion and beauty )..
“Lydia’s Salon of Beauty” .
EBONY MAGAZINE ran an advertisement on a black hair care product - RAVEEN HAIR CONDITIONER.
See her feedback on this product on the other photos.
We’re so proud of her - She was truly a Sophisticated Lady.

I offer my deepest condolences.
I met Ms Lydia when she visited Monte and his family in Tampa, FL. She was a genteel lady whose presence made you feel welcome and special. Her demeanor was as warm as her smile. I am thankful that I got to meet her.
God bless the Miller family and all of Ms Lydia’s relatives.

We will LOVE you forever!!!

From her Children and Grandchildren - February 9, 2023.
Thank you to everyone for the kind thoughts, prayers and positive energy about our Mother.
Each of you will surely agree, that she was a sparkling glow of light that brightened any one she came in contact with.
Her interactions with most people would be the starting point of a relationship and culminating into a lifelong friendship.
Indeed, Mama was a warm and down to earth person that you would be happy to meet. She had a unique ability to make most people feel welcomed and accepted.
Most of you will agree that Mama was a "true Lady of the South" who would upon entrance, light up the room and people felt the urge to gravitate towards her warmth and smile.
She loved fashion. Indeed, she possessed a natural insight to fashion trends, observing them as they became fashionable.
She attended many theater, musicals and Broadway shows due her passion for theatrical arts.
On the other hand, Mama had unique aspects of intelligence and sophistication that allowed her to speak about anything with anyone.
Above all, we are missing her supremely at this time.
Again, we thank you for the all the lovely thoughts, sentiments and outpouring love towards our beloved Mother.
May God continue to bless each and every one of you.

Thank you Nanny for always being there for me. I will miss our talks. May you rest in our Father's arms for eternity. I know that you now have the peace and serenity that is not available on our journey as humans. You will forever be in my heart until we meet again.
