Lydia Zamora Obituary

ZAMORA
Lydia Zamora was called home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2014; at the age of 78. Born in Corpus Christi TX, she met and married her husband of 56 years Lorenzo and eventually moved to San Antonio. She worked in accounting for most of her career but it was her faith and family that was most important to her. Lydia was an only child and wanted a large family; we have always been proud and honored to call her ours. As a warm, loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend she lead by example and instilled the true meaning of family in her children who continue carrying on that tradition. She is survived by her husband Lorenzo and 5 children Norma ( and Mike) Ruiz, Rachel (and Bob) Eddy, Lorenzo (and Carolyn) Zamora Jr, Carmen Swanson, and Arturo (and Alexis) Zamora, 9 grandchildren Marisa, Candice, Miguel, Allison, Lorenzo III, Jacob, Clarissa, Samantha, Westley, 5 great grandchildren Jackson, Liam, Nathan, Lyric, and Isaias, several extended family members nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. This is not Goodbye instead it is so long for now. We love you. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5:00 p.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary. Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with interment following at San Jose Burial Park.
