I made a contribution in memory of Lynda to Zero Food Print, a foundation that supports regenerative farming practices, which transform bad atmospheric carbon into good soil carbon. I think she would have liked the mission of this organization, being a lover of food as well as the environment.

I am devastated by learning of Lynda's death. She was one of my oldest friends and most cherished friends. We first met the summer of 1955, right after my family moved to Washington. I spent many happy days at her house.
Following up an email trail on the renaming of Woodrow Wilson High School, which we both attended, led me to Lynda's obituary.
Not only was she an exemplary pubic citizen who promoted social justice, particularly for girls and women, but she was also an exemplary friend. She was a loving and attentive friend to Judy Plotkin Wilkinson, the third member of our triad of friends. Even though years sometimes elapsed between our reunions, we could always reconnect to the warmth of our friendship. I will miss her greatly, as I am sure you will also. My most heartfelt condolences to all the children and grandchildren.
