Boise, Idaho - Lynette Watson
March 28, 2021
Lynette Watson, of Meridian, passed away peacefully at the Cascadia of Boise Facility in Boise on March 28, 2021.
Born on August 23, 1946 to Theo and Marion Scott, Lynette lived her life in the Treasure Valley. She graduated from Boise High in Boise and attended Boise State University majoring in criminal justice.
After a prior marriage Lynette met Warren Watson and they married in 1984. The family grew to five children as Lynette's two children and Warren's three began their life together. Lynette and Warren soon discovered their shared love and passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. They met many people from that lifestyle.
Lynette was employed as a regional manager for Tupperware and as a waitress prior to becoming employed by the Idaho Statesman. She managed the Telemarking team for several years and was employed there for 18 years.
Lynette had a caring attitude, a charitable heart, warm spirit, and a willingness to help others. She will be missed by so many and will live in our hearts forever.
Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia altered Lynette's life drastically. We know Lynette has no more pain and sorrow as she has finally found peace with her heavenly Father.
Lynette is preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Marion Scott, a brother stillborn at birth, Grandma Maddie, a brother-in-law, Dennis Rath and a sister-in-law, Debbie Watson.
Lynette is survived by five children, three daughters, Nikki Beekman (Jeff), Pam Slack (David) and Bonnie Rosetta (Troy Goodrich) and two sons, Josh Hildreth (M.K.), Kelly Watson (Dani), 16 grandchildren, Darrin Slack, Cavan Watson, Michael Halligan, Deidra Slack, Devree Detorres, Anthony Latten, Kelly Latten, Devon Rosetta, Kory Watson, Kody Watson, Athena Coltrin, Jeremiah Beekman, Theodore Hildreth, Briana Hildreth, Dallas Pham, and Hitsa Pham, 20 great-grandchildren, a sister, Ginger Scott-Johnson (Erv Johnson), two sisters-in-law, Wanda Butler (George) and Joan Rath.
A viewing and service will be held Saturday, April 3 at 11:00 am at Boise Funeral Home – Aclesa Chapel, Boise followed by cremation.
The family would like to thank Cascadia of Boise and Horizon Home Health Hospice all of whom provided Lynette with the best of care.

Lynette and I were good friends in our senior year at Boise High and also for a few years after graduation. She was a fun-loving, adventurous, kind and caring soul. I moved away from Boise and we lost contact, but I thought of her often over the years. May you be comforted by cherished memories and the healing love of family and friends. With Deepest Sympathy, Judy Joyce (Donoho)
