Lynn Hopkins lived in Truth Hall with me during her freshman year at Howard University. She had the most beautiful smile. A popular student. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Over the years, we lost contact. We reconnected when she worked in the office of DC First Lady Effi Barry. Later she and her cousin Jim Wells were hired to photograph and video coverage of one my black women of courage luncheons in DC. I remember visiting her a few times when she had her duplex in NW DC. I missed her death notice because I was in Los Angeles in September 2021 taking care of my late sister who also died in September 2021. We talked a few times after Lynn moved out West. We remained friends on Facebook. Thanks to our mutual friend Laryce Dowe for informing me about Lynn´s death. Her cousin Dr. John Syphax is also a friend. Rest in peace dear Lynn.

Lynn Collins was a beautiful and caring sister friend. I miss
