Richard Snyder

April 14, 2010

This is his son Richard Snyder. My dad was a great father and friend. He loved to play softball, golf and bowl. Bowling was one of his many passions and I am glad to have bowled along side him as a teammate for many years and watch him achieve many honor scores and win many league championships with him. I also, bowled my first 300 game against him. Not too many sons can say that their first honor score was against there own father. He worked at the Palo Verde Generating Station and was loved and well respected by many of his coworkers. My dad always tried to treat people with kindness and respect as the way he would want to be treated. I just hope that one day I can live up to him - as he is the measuring stick for my success. So, thanks dad for the many memories and special times we shared together. You will be missed, but never forgotten. John 10:30 - I and my father are one. You may have thought I didn't see,
Or that I hadn't heard,
Lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.
Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we'd grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It's written on my heart.
Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be
The man I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.
I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
So here's to you, dear dad,
From your forever grateful son.
Thank you
