Lynne always had a smile for everyone, she was a friendly, kind and soft spoken lady. Lynne is missed by everyone at the Antiques Mall.

I met Lynne Gordon as a a fellow antique dealer at the Charleston Antique Mall. She mentored me in the ways and means of the mall, and was quite a knowledgeable source regarding many antiquities - jewelry in particular, as it was her area of specialization. She was often bedecked in one fabulous piece of antique jewelry or another- an amazing opal ring, a beautiful amethyst pendant, some glamorous pearl earrings.
Lynne had style!
In addition to being an integral member of the Charleston Mall "family," Lynne Gordon was a kind and sweet soul, with a great sense of humor. We shared some great conversations, as well as quite a few humorous stories while completing our "Guardian of the Back Door" positions at the Mall. The most special part of these moments, however, was listening to Lynne speak about her daughters, grandchild, and cats.
They were her true family, and her deep love for all of them never failed to shine through in our conversations. She seemed never happier than when sharing the details of a recent trip and its events in visiting a daughter out of town, a grandson's musical recital, or even the antics of her cats. Her eyes would absolutely glow with pleasure, accompanied by such a genuinely warm smile at these times, it was easy to feel her happiness!
Lynne was certainly a special woman- a special person- with whom I've been honored to share a brief moment in time with.
I'll miss you Lynne.
