I was very saddened to hear about your loss. I have fond memories of Lynne and family from our childhood years in Mayfair and Terravista. It was always fun times at your house with all the girls. I was fortunate to run into Lynne many times over the past few years usually at Windermere and most recently at Coy's Golf course this past summer. My deepest sympathy to you all. The lovely tribute in the newspaper reminds me of the first time Lynne and I met. It was 1971, the summer before we started Grade Five. My family had just moved into the neighbourhood and Lynne was at the door, eager to be my friend. We stuck together, best friends through elementary and junior high school. As adults, our paths crossed infrequently, but when they did I marveled at how little Lynne had changed over the years. Even in the face of difficulties and hardship in her adult life, she was still the smiling, open girl who wanted to be my friend.

Remembering Lynne, I join in the celebration of her life.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear to Lynne's passing from a GBM. I lost two sisters to the same cancer...so tough!
It is different from other cancers...Ted Kennedy and Tug McGraw also died of this. I wish you peace in your days.
