ON the anniversary of her passing I can only say that this precious woman of God never failed to smile and hug those around her. She was an amazing woman.

I was watching Missouri play Texas A&M today and was excited about the win and began to feel nostalgic about my days in Columbia,Mo.where I attended Stephens college. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful roomate by the name of Lyndi Taussig who was beautiful, fun and charming. We all loved her so much and she enriched our lives.I look back on those days with such fondness and "Lynder" as we called her made those times at college very special. I was her roomate Carol and she called me "Carlie" and I have thought of her often through the years. There were four of us who were best friends; Gail,Wynne,Lynder and myself and we laughed often and enjoyed life to the fullest. When she met "Macer"/ Mac...we knew she had found her forever soul mate. She was transformed and so in love and you just knew that they were meant to be together always. I googled Bill McCartney today, because of the game and my memories of his football days at Missou as a player.I was so very sad to read of Lyndi's passing, but was also pleased that she had Mac and the Lord by her side. Lyndi was like sunshine in those days. I have never forgotten her and I feel blessed to have known her for those wonderful two years as my "roomie" at Stephens. My deepest heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She was such a special and bright star and I will always love her.

Lyndi Mac was the best aunt money could buy. She was one of the best people I have ever known. She is the best example for women everywhere. She is now standing on the right hand of God smiling, dancing, and singing. I love you Aunt Lynne. So glad you touched my life.

Lyndi has been the life of the party at our neighborhood block parties, Christmas parties, and birthday parties. We know lyndi will be looking down because she did not want to miss a gathering with her friends.

Dearest Bill and your family. Lyndi always shined whenever we were all together. What fun we had every holiday season to celebrate Christmas at our luncheon and gift exchange. She once said that Christmas was her favorite time of the year. We cared for her very much. We will miss her smiles and laughter. She was a bright spot in our close neighborhood.

Lyndi's gift at our neighbor ladies Christmas Luncheon and Gift Exchange Dec 20 20. We loved your smiles every time we were together.

Mrs. Lyndi, you allowed me to sit next to you at PK in Dallas 96. We both saw the spirit move coming through the wall as you said it would. I now have those same tears in my eyes. I'll see you on the other side, I am sure. A soldier for Christ salute to you. You are missed, but not forgotten.Sweet memories of your humility.
