Most come into this world and spend their time enriching their own life. Some, alas precious few, come into this world and leave it having enriched the lives of those whose path they cross. Lyone was one of those precious few. His kindness and generosity will live in our harts forever. Our thoughts and wishes go out to Dodo and his wonderful family. You are a living testimony to a great man.

Dear Erik, Alison and all of the Heppner clan.

Our prayers are with you at this difficult time. Losing a father casts a long shadow over your heart. Memories are the sunshine which lifts the darkness. We know that there are so many good memories of a wondeful father that your hearts will be comforted.

We are sorry that we are not with you at this important time but know we hold you in our hearts.

Our condolences to Dodo and the whole family. In one person's life. Lyone embodied all the noble attributes of a human being: courage, intelligence, determination, love of family, and devotion to the Jewish community and people in need.
In addition, he was a great drinking companion and raconteur, and seemed overjoyed when surrounded by family and sipping his Scotch on the rocks.
His booming laugh will be forever missed.
