My son Eric Shawkey was in Greener mountains with Emmett. This was
Eric"s first movie at age 7. He was so nervous, and Emmett treated him like he was his own son. He was kind and encouraging and we will never forget his guidance. We all know what Emmett handed him upon his first arrival on the movie set. Eric still has that! Rest in peace you wonderful and kind mentor to so many. We will never forget you!

Mike was a Clarkson classmate of my brother. Mike came to my brother’s funeral in 2019 in St Albans, VT. They shared the college experience together. Never forgot each other even though their paths took a different turn. Sincere sympathy to Mike’s family. He was a genuine gentleman and true Vermonter.
