LYNN — M. Doris (Melanson) Kiricoples, 86, of Lynn, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008 at a local nursing home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Charles Kiricoples.
Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Arzelie (Legere) Melanson.
For 20 years she worked at the G.E. River Works, Lynn, in Building 63 and was a member of I.U.E. Local 201, AFL-CIO. She was also a member of the G.E. Retirees.
Doris was a former communicant of St. Jean's Church, Lynn.
She leaves two sons, Charles Paul Kiricoples and his wife Patty Bagley of Vail, Ariz. and Roger J. Kiricoples and his wife Laurie of Peabody; a daughter, Nancy Peterson and her husband Wayne of Wakefield; one brother, Joseph Melanson of Malden; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Alfred and Edgar Melanson, Lorraine Lennon and Lydia Kalinowski.
ARRANGEMENTS: The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Lynn at 9 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Tuesday 3 to 7 p.m. For online guestbook, visit www.mem.com.

I have great memories over the years of visiting Aunt Dot, I always stayed with her every time I visited family in Lynn. She was one of a kind, and I enjoyed her company. I loved and still miss her. May her memory be eternal.
